Last year, we met Joseline, a 12-year-old girl who had surgery to remove a brain tumor. Her condition was grave with doctors believing she would remain in a vegetative state.
Through therapies and nutrition provided by the Breakfast program, she has done quite well. She can listen to music and stand and walk.
However, he sight has not returned.
In the trip in January of 2017, Robert Taylor discovered she was sleeping on the concrete floor covered by a blanket. (The reason is her family of six lives in a rusted corrugated tin house of a 200 sq. ft. )
Through the generosity of some Waterview members, we bought her a bed. Does she like it? See for yourself:
